SwiftSearch is a program from the family of adware programs that display advertisements and offers while you are browsing the web. When this adware is installed it will will underline words on web pages that you are viewing, which display advertisement labeled Ad by SwiftSearch when you hover your mouse over them. The SwiftSearch adware will also display pop-up ads that appear in a new browser window or tab when you click on web site links. These advertisements are typically for other adware or potentially unwanted programs. This adware is commonly detected by security programs as Adware:Win32/InfoAtoms or Adware.Vitruvian.
