  • CPU Miner Removal Guide

CPU Miner is a potentially unwanted program that installs programs that use your computer's resources to mine digital currency without your permission. When installed, this PUP installs two different miner applications that use your CPU and your graphics card to mine digital currency. The CPU miner that is installed is called cpuminer, and will use 30% of your CPU's power, and the graphics card miner is called sgminer, which is configured to use 30% of your graphics cards power. What this means, is that when the miners are running you will find that your computer is running slower and games are stuttering or freezing because the PUP is using your computer's resources to generate revenue for themselves. While running, your computer will be added to mining pool called pool2.ipominer.com under the username Danila.22 in order mine the digital currency called Darkcoin.
