    If you are seeing Ad by Browser Extension advertisements on web pages then it is possible that you computer has adware installed on it. Certain adware will inject advertisements into web sites that you are visiting, even if these web sites do not normally display ads. Browser Extension ads will be displayed as underlined keywords on a the web site. If you click on the keyword, then an ad will be displayed and will be labeled Ad by Browser Extension. When we tested this adware, the ads that were displayed were typically for other adware or unwanted programs.

    If you are seeing Ad by Browser Extension advertisements on web pages then it is possible that you computer has adware installed on it. Certain adware will inject advertisements into web sites that you are visiting, even if these web sites do not normally display ads. Browser Extension ads will be displayed as underlined keywords on a the web site. If you click on the keyword, then an ad will be displayed and will be labeled Ad by Browser Extension. When we tested this adware, the ads that were displayed were typically for other adware or unwanted programs.

    These ads are displayed through adware that configures your browser to use a proxy server. When you use your web browser, the traffic will pass through this proxy server and have javascript injected into the page. This javascript will then display advertisements onto the web sites that you are visiting.
    Why am I seeing Ad by Browser Extension Advertisements?

    Free software that you download off of the Internet sometimes also come with adware. These adware programs will display advertisements, hijack your browser, or do other unwanted actions on a computer. Therefore, it is important that you pay close attention to license agreements and installation screens when installing anything off of the Internet. If an installation screen offers youÂ*CustomÂ*orÂ*AdvancedÂ*installation options, it is a good idea to select these as they will typically disclose what other 3rd party software will also be installed. Furthermore, If the license agreement or installation screens state that they are going to install a toolbar or other unwanted adware, it is advised that you immediately cancel the install and not use the free software.
