The Searchinme.com Browser Hijacker is a potentially unwanted program that hijacks your installed browsers so that they use Searchinme.com as the home and search provider. It does this by downloading a version of Firefox that has been preconfigured to use Searchinme.com as its home page. Furthermore, this program will modify the file associations for HTML files and URLs so that they use their bundled copy of Firefox instead of the browser that was normally used on the computer.
