Quicky Translator is an adware programs that states it a language translation program, but instead displays a constant stream of fake security alerts and browser alerts that are designed to scare you into calling a remote support company. When infected, Quicky Translator will create a a Windows service and startup executable that sets multiple timers for when an alert should be shown. At the end of these timers, a program called Quicky.exe will be launched that will display desktop pop-up alerts called Notice that cover the entire screen and prevent you from doing your normal work. This program will also configure your machine to use a Proxy Server that injects javascript alerts into your browser with warnings that you are infected with malware. These browser alerts prevent you from using your browser or browsing web pages.
