NetSecure is an adware program from theAdware.Privox family that injects advertisements into web sites that you are visiting. When this adware is installed, it will configure your browser to send all traffic through a bundled Privoxy server that has a filename of oxy.exe. This allows it to monitor all of the victim's web traffic and inject advertisements into the web sites they are visiting.
NetSecure gets its name from the NetSecure Windows service that is created to start the adware when Windows starts. While running, NetSecure will use the Privoxy server to inject the following javascript into web sites that you are viewing. It does this by inserting the below javascript line before the tag of the web site.

When your browser runs this script, it will cause advertisements to be displayed either as pop-ups, in new tabs, or even on the site itself. These ads may be labeled Ads by CB Ad Rotator and will be for porn sites, further adware downloads, legitimate products, or tech support scams.
How was NetSecure installed on my Computer?

It is important to note that the NetSecure is bundled with and installed by free programs that did not adequately disclose that other software would be installed along with it. Therefore, it is important that you pay close attention to license agreements and installation screens when installing anything off of the Internet. If an installation screen offers youÂ*CustomÂ*orÂ*AdvancedÂ*installation options, it is a good idea to select these as they will typically disclose what other 3rd party software will also be installed. Furthermore, If the license agreement or installation screens state that they are going to install a toolbar or other unwanted adware, it is advised that you immediately cancel the install and not use the free software.
In my opinion, the NetSecure adware was designed to only generate advertising revenue for the developer and provides no benefit to the user. Therefore, I feel if you have this program installed you should remove it from your computer. You can use the following guide to remove NetSecure for free.
