A Ad Clicker Trojan, otherwise known as Trojan/Clicker, is computer infection that runs in the background and constantly connects to remote web sites. When it connects to these sites, though, the pages will be rendered, including the ads, but will not be displayed to the use. This is done to generate revenue from the ads being displayed or by driving traffic to these sites.
