The Windows Security Notification Scam is an web browser advertisement that displays an alert that states that your Windows antivirus protection is not sufficient enough. If you then press the OK button on the alert, it will display an affiliate page for Mcafee. The advertisers are performing this scam in order to generate affiliate commissions from selling Mcafee products.
