NIX Player is a potentially unwanted program that allows you play various media files on your computer. NIX Player is promoted through web popups that state "Latest version of NIX Video Player is required to encode and/or decode (play) audio and video files in high quality. - Download and Install latest version." and then prompt you to download the program. When you download and install the program, NIX Player may be installed along with other programs, which are possibly adware.
