SATA Monitor, or Satamon.exe, is a Trojan that downloads other malware onto a computer. When installed, an autorun called "SATA Monitor" will be created that automatically launches the satamon.exe malware. Once running, it will silently remain in the background waiting for commands to download and install other malware.
