Browse-Secure for Chrome by browse-secure.com is a Google Chrome extension that has a description of "Keep your search secure with Browse-Secure: the anonymous, encrypted search engine and privacy tool.". When this extension is installed, it will connect to Facebook and LinkedIn and try to harvest information from the logged in user. This information, which consists of the users email address, first and last name, date of birth, mobile phone number, and address, is then sent up to the developer without the user's permission.
