Get-A-Clip is an adware program that claims that it is "a FREE Windows application, allowing you to seamlessly download videos from YouTube and extract audio in various formats". While it may do what it says it can do, it also makes it so that your browser displays a stream of annoying advertisements that interfere with your browsing experience. These advertisements will open up in new tabs, new browser windows, and will overlay web pages that you are visiting. When these ads are displayed they will be labeled Ads by GetaClip.
How to remove Ads by GetaClip (Uninstall Guide)

It is important to note that the Get-A-Clip is bundled with and installed by free programs that did not adequately disclose that other software would be installed along with it. Therefore, it is important that you pay close attention to license agreements and installation screens when installing anything off of the Internet. If an installation screen offers youÂ*CustomÂ*orÂ*AdvancedÂ*installation options, it is a good idea to select these as they will typically disclose what other 3rd party software will also be installed. Furthermore, If the license agreement or installation screens state that they are going to install a toolbar or other unwanted adware, it is advised that you immediately cancel the install and not use the free software.
In my opinion, even if Get-A-Clip is able to download YouTube videos for you, the advertisements it displays does not appear to be a fair trade. If you find these GetAClip advertisements annoying, you can use the following guide to remove it for free.
