The Sacrosanct and Rickshaws processes are adware programs that are installed along with free software you download from the Internet. When installed, these programs will configure itself to automatically start when you login to Windows. Once running, they will run in the background and without your knowledge constantly connect to various sites on the Internet. They will also install different versions of Chrome and Firefox that are launched when you start your web browser to display background audio advertisements.
How to remove the Sacrosanct and Rickshaws PUP
The Sacrosanct and Rickshaws processes are adware programs that are installed along with free software you download from the Internet. When installed, these programs will configure itself to automatically start when you login to Windows. Once running, they will run in the background and without your knowledge constantly connect to various sites on the Internet. They will also install different versions of Chrome and Firefox that are launched when you start your web browser to display background audio advertisements.
This adware does not create Start Menu shortcuts or Desktop icons. The only indication that it is installed is you see the sacrosanct.exe and rickshaws.exe processes in the Windows Task Manager and hear audio advertisements playing without an visible indication of where they are coming from.

How did Sacrosanct.exe and Rickshaws.exe get on my computer?
It is important to note that this program is installed by other programs that did not adequately disclose that other software would be installed along with it. Therefore, it is important that you pay attention to the license agreements and installation screens when installing anything off of the Internet. If an installation screen offers you Custom or Advanced installation options, it is a good idea to select these as they will typically disclose what other 3rd party software will also be installed. Furthermore, If the license agreement or installation screens state that they are going to install a toolbar or other unwanted adware, it is advised that you cancel the install and not use the free software.
From my testing, this program plays unwanted advertisements over your speakers without your permission or an indication of how to stop them. Furthermore, the running processes perform constant connection to sites so that your CPU is constantly in use and you lose Internet bandwidth. Last, but not least, if this program is installed on your computer there is a good chance that other unwanted programs may be installed as well. Therefore, I feel that if you discover these processes or symptoms on your computer, you should use this guide to remove this adware and other related programs.
