My Web Shield is an adware program that is advertised as being able to block your computer from visiting dangerous sites. While it does appear to perform this behavior, it also injects advertisements into web sites that you visit. These advertisements will be in the form of intrusive deal bars, video ads, in-text ads, and shopping comparison toolbars.
