Hit Search is a Chrome extension that has a description of "After you install Hit Search, the extension makes Yahoo! your default search engine. This extension configures your Default". When installed, Hit Search will cause any searches you make from the Chrome address bar to go through search.hitsearch.online, which redirects to Yahoo.com, which will show the search results.
